21st Century Teaching and Learning: Critical Thinking in the Foundation Phase

In the 21st Century the emphasis on teaching and learning is not just on content. The emphasis is more about what learners are able to do with the information that is so readily available. Learners need to know how to access information, evaluate it and create something new from it. They also need to know how to keep learning — and how to make effective and innovative use of what they know — throughout their lives. This course will show teachers how to teach young children to be critical thinkers.
