AI Fluency – Practical and Responsible AI Skills for Educators
Artificial intelligence is changing how teachers plan, create, assess, and support learning. This course helps educators understand AI in simple, practical terms and use it with confidence in their teaching context. Participants will learn the basics of AI and generative AI, explore tools such as Microsoft Copilot, and practise using prompts to support lesson planning, content creation, administration, learner engagement, and problem-solving. The course also focuses on responsible AI use, including privacy, bias, safety, accuracy, and the importance of teacher judgement when using AI-generated content. By the end of the course, educators will have practical skills to use AI more effectively, save time, strengthen classroom practice, and support future-ready teaching and learning.
