Apprentice Stream for Robotics and Coding Teacher Training

This course directly helps teachers to become more competent in their understanding of the Apprentice Stream in order to be able to teach it in their robotics classes. The course assists teachers by teaching them how to code basically in Scratch and on Makecode so as to better prepare them for their year classes. Teachers then apply their knowledge to code the micro:bit car as the students would. Teachers are also continuously assessed on their understanding of the coursework and are ultimately exposed to different styles of learning and pedagogies.
